ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Old Dominion University sailing placed eighth at the Prosser Trophy MAISA Team Race Championship and 11th at the Emily Wick Regatta this weekend.
At the Prosser Trophy, ODU won a pair of races with a win over Fordham and a win against Georgetown. The skippers for the weekend were Bridget Groble, Parker Purrington and Rider Odom, while the crew were Isabelle Kanach, Makalynne Dyer and Katherine Barton.
At the Emily Wick, the Division A team of Elizabeth Gildea and Allison Jeanne Volk came in 12th. The duo had a pair of top-five finishes.
The Division B squad of Megan Geith and Alivia Markham came in eighth in the division. Geith and Markham had five top-five places including a race win.
