NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University lacrosse is preparing to begin American Athletic Conference play this weekend. The Monarchs travel to East Carolina on Saturday, April 2, for a 1 p.m. contest. 
 
Old Dominion (5-7) is coming off a tight Delaware 12-11 loss to Delaware. Lilly Siskind led the way with four points from two goals and two assists. Freshman Sydney Taylor tallied three points on two goals and an assist. 
 
Siskind leads the team and is tied for fifth in the nation with 60 points. That number has her tied for ninth in the Old Dominion single season record book.  Corrinne Stratton ranks third on the team with 20 points. Caroline Shaefer has 52 draw controls on the season, only 18 away from tying the all-time Old Dominion single season record of 70.
 
Jenna Peccia has started all 12 games for the Monarchs, leading the nation with 130 saves. She is 30 saves away from cracking the top ten for Old Dominion's single season record.

The Pirates are 7-5 on the year and defeated William & Mary 16-6 on Saturday. Frances Kimel leads East Carolina with 40 points. Leah Bestany leads the team in goals with 27. 
 
The Pirates' goalkeeping is managed by Brynn Knight who has started 11 out of 12 games.
