NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion senior forward Austin Trice was named Second Team All-Conference USA honoree, the league office announced on Monday.

Trice averaged 13.1 points and 9.0 rebounds per game and has been a terror in the paint in conference.  In C-USA games, he has a league best 11 double-doubles and is averaging 16.5 points to go with a league high 11.6 rebounds.

He scored a season-high 25 points at FIU on December 30 going 10-for-11 from the floor. Trice had double figures in rebounds on 13 occasions, including a stretch of eight in a row.

Against first-round opponent UTEP he scored 19 points and hauled in a season best 20 rebounds.  He nearly matched those 20 rebounds later in the season at Marshall with 14 points and 19 boards.  He holds the top two rebounding games in Conference USA this season with those games.

Old Dominion (13-18) takes on UTEP (18-12) in the 9 p.m. EST matchup on Wednesday night in Frisco, Texas.
