NORFOLK, Va. – The 48th-ranked Old Dominion University men's tennis team continues a month-long homestand as they take on Navy Sunday morning at 11 a.m. inside the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
Old Dominion (7-4) enters on a three-match winning streak following a 7-0 win on Thursday afternoon over Kennesaw State. The Monarchs are led by Luca Maldoner with a 7-3 singles record this spring. Francois Le Tallec is currently ranked 96th nationally and has a 3-3 mark. In doubles, Le Tallec and Codie van Schawlkyk have the top record for the Monarchs at 5-0 this spring.
Navy is 16-4 and will play a pair of matches on Saturday before heading to Old Dominion. Jack Dabek leads the Midshipmen with a 15-2 record, while Jake Fishkin is 14-5 in singles. In doubles, they have a pair of duos sporting 6-0 records.
The Monarchs hold an 11-4 lead in the all-time series with Navy, as this will be the first meeting since the 2015 season and the first in Norfolk since 2013.
