DALLAS – Senior Jana Melichova of the Old Dominion women's golf team was recognized as Conference USA Co-Golfer of the week, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Melichova added a sixth straight top-10 finish at the UCF Challenge, placing in a tie for ninth at 7-under 209. The native of Pikovice, Czech Republic went under par in the first and second rounds with a 68 and 69 before grinding out an even-par 72 in the final round. Melichova has finished each of her last five rounds at or under par, and 11 of her 15 rounds this season have been par or better.
Melichova received weekly honors for the conference for the fourth time in her career. She was also named co-golfer of the week following a top-three finish at the Evie Odom Invitational in October.
