BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced its 2021 Division I National All-Academic squad on Tuesday morning, and 18 Old Dominion student-athletes were honored with placement on the team.
 
The NFHCA National Academic Squad program, sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, honors collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year, and were nominated by their NFHCA member coach.  Over 1,370 student-athletes were recognized, including 230 four-year honorees.
 
Three Division I academic awards remain to be announced — the NFHCA Scholars of Distinction will be announced on February 15, the NFHCA National Academic Team awards on February 21, and the National Scholar-Athlete on February 23.
