NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women's golf team returns to action at the UCF Challenge this Sunday through Tuesday at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orland, Florida. The Monarchs are part of a tough 18-team field that includes nine top-50 programs and a pair of teams ranked inside the Golfstat Top-10. Live scoring for all three rounds is available through Golfstat.
Action begins at 8:45 a.m. each day with a shotgun start on the par-72, 6,349-yard Eagle Creek GC. ODU starts Sunday on the 10th, 11th and 12 tees and is paired with Iowa State and Kent State. Pairings for the following two days will be based on team standings.
The field is stacked with highly-ranked teams, and 17 of the 18 programs in the field are inside the top-100. The tournament features No. 6 Wake Forest, No. 7 Virginia and No. 12 Auburn as well as Kentucky's Jensen Castle, the reigning U.S. Women's Amateur champion.
