DALLAS – Old Dominion women's swimming junior Summer Sampson was named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team, the league announced on Tuesday.
A native of Virginia Beach, Sampson holds a 3.98 GPA in dental hygiene.
Sampson is a two-time recipient of the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal and a five-time ODU Dean's List student. She has the 11th fastest time in C-USA in the 200 backstroke heading into this week's C-USA Championship.
The C-USA Championship begins tomorrow at 5 p.m. and continues throughout the week. Click here for more information about the event.
