NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's tennis team visits Liberty for a noon match on Sunday to end a seven-match road trip.
ODU (4-3) enters the contest after defeating William & Mary 4-1 on Wednesday night in Williamsburg. The Monarchs took the doubles point with Yevhen Sirous and Luca Maldoner clinching the point with a 6-4 win at number one.
In singles, Maldoner locked up the dual for ODU with a tough three-set win at number two over Harrison Brown 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 for the 4-1 ODU win.
Liberty (2-4) has lost three of its last four matches recording a 4-3 win over Elon in that stretch. The Flames last match was on Feb. 11 in a 4-3 loss at Penn State.
After Sunday, the Monarchs will be home for their 11 matches starting with a 1 p.m. contest with Furman on Feb. 26.

Liberty has established themselves as constantly ranked team in college tennis. They have depth and talent. There is a reason they made the NCAA tournament last year. They have been really strong at home in the last couple years, so we are looking at another challenging match that is good for our development.
