Jacob Cobb Named CCSA Swimmer of the Week

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University junior swimmer Jacob Cobb became the third-straight Monarch to earn a conference swimmer of the week honor, as he wass named CCSA Swimmer of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.

Cobb joins Tara Enneking and Summer Miln as the third-straight swimmer of the week. Enneking and Miln were back-to-back C-USA Swimmers of the week.

Cobb earned a pair of wins for ODU in its meet over the weekend at George Mason. Cobb continued his dominance in the 200 backstroke and IM, winning the backstroke by almost two seconds. Cobb has won at least one event in each dual meet this season. Cobb won the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:53.38 and the 200 IM with a time of 1:56.77.
