NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University football is set to begin the 2021 campaign with fall camp opening on Thursday, Aug. 5.
The Monarchs open the 2021 regular season on Friday, Sept. 3 at Wake Forest and will host Hampton on Saturday, Sept. 11 in the home opener. The Friday night opener will be the first Friday away game played in school history and the first time ODU opens against a Power-Five opponent.
ODU returns 10 starters and 26 letterwinners from the 2019 squad. The Monarchs have nine seniors on the team and 12 players that have already earned their degree.
