Old Dominion women's soccer player Yuliia Khrystiuk has appeared in 14 of ODU's 15 matches this season, her one absence was against FIU as she traveled to play for the Ukraine Under-19 National Team. The Ukraine native traveled to The Netherlands to compete with the Ukraine Under-19 National Team in three qualifying matches for the UEFA Women's Under-19 European Championships.

While away, Khrystiuk appeared in all three of Ukraine's qualifying matches against The Netherlands, Scotland, and Austria. The highlight of her trip was when she scored in the 90th minute to equalize for the Ukraine in a 1-1 tie against Scotland.

"Representing your country is one of the greatest achievements you can have as a player, and we couldn't be more proud of Yuliia. We will continue to support Yuliia as she continues to do great things both at ODU and for her national team," ODU head coach Angie Hind said.

This season for the Monarchs, Khrystiuk has appeared in 14 matches, starting four of them. She has two goals, one of which was the game-winning goal in the win over UAB, two assists and 11 shots.
