LYNCHBURG, Va. – Alexandra Viktorovich, Alesya Yakubovich, and Sofia Johnson of the Old Dominion women's tennis team all went 3-0 in the Main Singles Draw at the ITA Atlantic Regional at the Liberty Tennis Complex. After advancing to the to the quarterfinals, Viktorovich, Yakubovich, and Johnson all qualified for the ITA Super Regionals held in Charlottesville on October 22-25.
 
"We had strong performances out of all our players this weekend," said ODU head coach Dominic Manilla. "Alexandra did a great job, holding her spot as the number one seed and qualifying in dominant fashion."
 
All three of Viktorovich's wins came in straight sets. Old Dominion's Yuliia Starodubtseva, Tatsiana Sasnouskaya and Marina Alcaide have already qualified for the ITA Atlantic Super Regional singles tournament.
 
ODU's Starodubtseva/Sasnouskaya, Johnson/Yakubovich and Viktorovich/Alcaide have been selected for the ITA Atlantic Super Regional doubles tournament.
 
In Lynchburg, ODU student-athletes were joined by players from Liberty, Virginia, James Madison, VCU, William & Mary, Virginia Tech, Richmond, Longwood, Radford, West Virginia and Marshall.
 
Starodubtseva, Sasnouskaya and Alaciade will commence action in Qualifying Singles Draw at ITA All-American Championships on October 6-11 in Charleston, South Carolina.
