NORFOLK, Va. – We're excited to be back for the 2021-22 ODU Men's & Women's Basketball seasons. A full schedule with tip-off times can be viewed here for the Men and Women. Below is a list of updated policies for ODU Basketball games at Chartway Arena this season. We hope this is helpful information in planning your visit to ODU.
Expectations of Attendees
We expect all of our fans to do their part to help us complete a successful basketball season. If you have COVID-19, are not feeling well or are in quarantine, we ask that you please stay home. All ODU basketball games can be heard on the ODU Sports Radio Network, either on ESPN Radio 94.1 FM or Money Talk 1310 AM. All ODU Basketball games are also broadcast or streamed online. If you are unable to attend, you can easily transfer your mobile tickets to friends or family online through your YNotTix.com account.
ODU team representatives and student-athletes have worked diligently to protect themselves and their ability to compete this season. It is required that spectators respect the space around the team and do not approach the players or team representatives. This includes when the team enters and exits the court. Autograph requests are prohibited.
Arena Capacity
Chartway Arena is operating at full capacity for ODU men's and women's basketball games.
Mobile Ticketing
ODU has transitioned to mobile ticketing for the 2021-22 basketball season. Season tickets were sent to each seat holder via email in mid-October. Prior to coming to campus, ticket holders should download their tickets to their mobile device to expedite entry and avoid any connectivity issues at the arena. Premium Areas – Big Blue Room, Constant Club, Courtside Seats, Suites and 4400 Club
All premium areas will be operating as normal this season. If you have any questions regarding premium seating and areas, call the ODAF at 757-683-6963. Questions about the 4400 Club should be directed to Justin Ross at 757-683-3360.
Mask Policy
Old Dominion University updated its mask protocols to enhance the health and safety of the campus community and to reflect updated guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. As of August 16, Old Dominion University requires face coverings to be worn when entering all indoor spaces, including Chartway Arena. We encourage you to wear your mask at all times while in the building, with the exception of actively eating or drinking. We will continue to monitor and follow state and CDC guidelines. Fans do not currently have to show proof of vaccination to attend ODU Basketball games at Chartway Arena.
Cashless-Only Transactions at Concessions & Box Office
ODU's food provider, Aramark, will continue to provide pre-packaged food this season, and will only accept cashless payment. The ODU Ticket Office at Chartway Arena will also only accept cashless transactions. Tickets may be purchased in advance at www.ynottix.com or by calling the box office at 757-683-4444.
In-Arena Mobile Ordering for Concessions
Fans attending ODU Basketball games at Chartway Arena can now download the ODU Sports 360 App on their mobile device. Within the app, fans can order directly from our in-arena concessionaire, Aramark. You will be alerted on the app when your order is ready for pick-up at the closest concessions stand.
