ODU Heads to FAU in Final Regular Season Game

NORFOLK, Va.- The Old Dominion women's soccer team prepares to head down to Boca Raton, Florida to play its final regular season match against FAU on Thursday night. The stream will be available on CUSA.tv starting at 7 p.m. 

Old Dominion leads Conference USA with a 5-1-1 record, conceding only one goal in seven games.  

ODU (9-4-1, 5-1-1 C-USA) is coming off its first C-USA loss of the season on Friday after losing 1-0 to FIU. On offense, Carla Morich hit a season high with seven shots, as did Cami Johnstone with four shots. Kasey Perry played in net for the Monarchs making three saves on six FIU shots faced.  

Morich is ranked fifth for shots (21) and seventh for shots on goal (10) in Conference USA. Perry leads Conference USA in goals against average (.161) and saves (16), giving her a .941 save percentage.  

FAU (6-5-4, 4-2-1 C-USA) is coming off a win over WKU on Friday night. Miracle Porter had the lone goal of the match, recording her fifth goal of the season. The Owls' attack was led by Porter with the goal and Bri Austin with four shots. Amit Cohen played the full 90 minutes for FAU, making three saves on six WKU shots faced. 

Austin and Porter are ranked sixth and seventh in C-USA for shots (20). Austin is ranked second in shots on goal with 13, while Porter is ranked sixth with 10 shots on goal. Porter leads the ranks in in goals (four). Cohen is second in goals against average (.769) and third in saves (6) earning a .824 save percentage. 

ODU won 2-0 in March when FAU came to Norfolk. The Monarchs lead the all-time series against the Owls 4-1-3.
