NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University women's sailing placed ninth at the Atlantic Coast Championship prelims over the weekend.
The Division A squad of Bridget Groble, Makalynne Dyer and Katherine Barton placed seventh in the division. The trio had four top-five finishes, including a high finish of third.
The Division B duo of Elizabeth Gildea and Grace O'Brien took 10th in the division with three top-five finishes. Gildea and O'Brien had a pair of third place spots in the 17 races.
Next weekend ODU will compete in the Coed Atlantic Coast Championship prelims in New Haven, Connecticut.
