ODU Women's Lacrosse Announces 2021 Schedule

NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University Women's Lacrosse Head Coach Heather Holt announced her 2021 schedule on Wednesday. The Monarchs open the season on Feb. 12 at VCU and host William and Mary on Feb. 24 in the home opener.
 
"Under the current circumstances, our staff has worked very hard to put together a very competitive schedule for the 2021 season.  Our team has been focusing on staying healthy and safe while practicing and competing every day," Holt said. "This season will present several challenges that we have never faced on and off the field, yet I am confident my team is prepared for anything.  This is one of the most talented teams I have coached at ODU and I look forward to a successful season."
 
The Monarchs' first two games of the season will be in Richmond, as the Monarchs are at VCU to open on the 12th, and at Richmond on Feb. 16.
 
ODU then begins an eight-game home stand on Feb. 24 against William and Mary, followed by home games against Longwood (Feb. 27), George Washington (Mar. 6) and Liberty (Mar. 10).
 
The Monarchs begin their first season of American Athletic Conference play with a pair of games against East Carolina on March 19 and 21, and then two more against Temple on March 26 and 28.
 
After spending all of March in Norfolk, the Monarchs travel to Vanderbilt for two games (April 1 and 3) and Cincinnati (April 16 and 18), before ending the regular season at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex on April 23 and 25 against Florida.
 
The American Athletic Conference Tournament will take Place May 6-8 in Gainesville, Florida.
 
Two hundred and fifty fans will be allowed to attend home ODU Lacrosse games this season. Fans will be admitted on a first come, first served basis. Gates will open 60 minutes prior to kickoff. Fans can park in Lot 43.
 
COVID Policies:

  • Mask required for entry into stadium. No gaiters.
  • Maintain social distancing while in the facility.
  • No large gatherings inside the facility.
  • Please sit in the stands in the designated locations.
  • Wash hands frequently.
