NORFOLK, Va. - Luca Maldoner and Nicola Vidal of the Old Dominion men's tennis team are set to compete in the ITA All-American Championship on October 2-10. The event will be held at the Michael D. Case Center on Tulsa's campus, as well as the Case Tennis Center in LaFortune Park.
Maldoner (Innsbruck, Austria) is in the Singles Main Draw, while Vidal (Bagnaria Arsa, Italy) will start in the Qualifying Singles Draw.
Maldoner/Vidal will also compete together in doubles, as the No. 18 nationally ranked tandem was selected for the Doubles Main Draw.
Tulsa will welcome around 400 singles players and 88 doubles teams this week, with roughly 100 teams being represented during the nine-day event.
The Pre-Qualifying Rounds will take place from October 2-3, while the Qualifying Rounds will take place October 4-5. The Main Draw will be held from October 6-10.
