NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's soccer team takes its home field for the first time this season to play against the Loyola Greyhounds on Friday Sept. 3 at 7 p.m.
Old Dominion (0-1, 0-0 C-USA) fell short on the road last week against American losing 2-1 as AU scored a late second half goal to secure the win. Despite the score, the Monarchs outshot AU (10-7) as well as attempted more corners (7-3). Karan Mandair was the goal scorer for ODU.
Loyola (1-0, 0-0 Patriot League) will start their first of five road games at the ODU Sports Complex. The Greyhounds won their home season opener against UC Irvine 2-0. Justin Ingram led the way for Loyola with two shots, one assist, and one goal.
The last time ODU and Loyola faced off was in 2016 when ODU won 2-1 in Norfolk.

Vouchers are good for any regular season home game played at the ODU Soccer Complex, Volleyball Center or Bud Metheny Baseball Stadium, and can be presented at the gate for admission.
