NORFOLK, Va. – A trio of Old Dominion University men's swimmers earned VaSID All-State honors, as Jacob Cobb, Peter Durisin and Noah Wilkins received second-team accolades.
A sophomore from Brentwood, Tennessee, Cobb took home a pair of second place finishes at the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Championships (CCSA) in the 400 IM and the 200 backstroke.
Durisin was named the CCSA Swimmer of the year after winning the 100 and 200 breaststroke at the CCSA Championships. A native of Slovakia, Durisin also helped the Monarchs to a third-place finish in the 400-medley relay.
Wilkins was named the CCSA Scholar-Athlete of the Year, winning the 100 freestyle and placing second in the 50 free. A native of New Orleans, he graduated with a 3.99 GPA in nuclear medicine technology.
