NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion women's soccer head coach Angie Hind announced the addition of Gry Boe Thrysøe to the Monarchs roster. Boe Thrysøe is a midfielder who reigns from Klarup, Denmark.
"We are thrilled to have signed Gry to our squad for this fall," said Hind. "She is a very talented midfielder, who has the unique ability to play both sides of the ball. Defensively, she is really strong, aggressive, reads the game well and will bring a real strength in the middle of the pitch for us. On the ball, she is skillful and can find early passes, but also has an eye for goal. We are excited to add her qualities to further strengthen the center of the field."
Boe Thrysøe was named the most valuable player of her club team, Aalborg Boldklub (AaB), in 2020.
"I have been impressed by her as a person," concluded Hind. "Her ambition and desire to make an impact is a great match for our program. As a staff, we were very impressed by her and look forward to working with her and welcoming her to the team."
