SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The No. 48 Old Dominion women's golf team is set to travel to the Lone Star State to compete in the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational from March 9-10 hosted by league foe, UTSA. Thirty-six holes will be played on March 9 and the tournament will conclude on March 10 with 18 holes.
The field features three nationally ranked teams in No. 29 North Texas, No. 31 Texas Tech and No. 48 ODU. Live scoring will be available on Golfstat.
Junior Jana Melichova is the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational reigning champion, when she put together a three-under 213 in 2020. ODU finished as runner-up last season, finishing right behind host UTSA.
ODU is coming off a second-place finish in the tri-match with No. 10 Virginia and Richmond played at Spring Creek Golf Club. Justine Lauer led the Monarchs with a three-over 75, finishing in a tie for fifth.
