NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women's basketball team is set to welcome Western Kentucky to Chartway Arena for games on Thursday and Friday. Both contests will tip at 6:30 p.m. and stream on CUSA.tv.
 
Thursday and Friday night's games will also air across the ODU Sports Radio Network, with Doug Ripley and Susan Montgomery's live pregame show beginning at 6 p.m. each night.
 
Notables
- Three Monarchs are averaging double-figure scoring: Victoria Morris (15.5), Ajah Wayne (14.3) and Amari Young (13.9).
- Young recorded her seventh double-double of the season on Feb. 26 in the Monarchs win over Middle Tennessee. Right alongside of Young is Wayne who put together six double-doubles this season.
- Young and Wayne currently hold the fourth and fifth most double-doubles in the league this season, respectively.
- Following ODU's game on Feb. 27, Morris jumped up to the 24th spot on ODU's all-time scoring list with 1,281 points. She is now 23 points away from catching Ticha Penicheiro (1,304) in the 23rd spot.
- Last season, ODU faced Western Kentucky at Chartway Arena. At the time, ODU dropped 11 consecutive contests to the Lady Toppers dating back to 1990, however Wayne led ODU to a 76-65 win over WKU with a double-double.
 
About the Lady Toppers
In its last series, WKU split, 1-1 with FIU. With a 6-8 C-USA record, the Lady Toppers sit just one spot ahead of the Monarchs on the C-USA East Division standings. The team leads the league in steals and has the third-most offensive rebounds per game. The Lady Topper defense ranks 8th in the league.
 
Individually, junior Meral Abdelgawad has compiled the most steals in the league (56), averaging 2.80 steals per game. Abdelgawad is most recently coming off a career high 29 points along with a career high seven assists, six steals and five rebounds at FIU.
