SENIOR DAY for Hutchinson & Pilkington, ODU Hosts NSU on Sunday at 11AM

NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women's tennis team (6-4) will host Norfolk State (2-4) on Sunday March 21 at 11 a.m. at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. All home ODU tennis matches are closed to the general public due to COVID-19 restrictions. Sunday morning will mark Senior Day for ODU's Holly Hutchinson and Brooke Pilkington.
 
The Tennis Monarchs have won five of their last six matches, as well as four in a row, while outscoring their opponents 23-5 during the win streak.
 
Holly Hutchinson – Middlesex, England
-Currently nationally ranked No. 40 in singles.
-Has played No. 1 singles for ODU throughout her career.
-Conference USA Player of the Year.
-All-Conference USA First Team in singles and doubles.
-First Team All-State for singles and doubles.
-C-USA Freshman of the Year.
-Last spring, pulled off one of the biggest upsets for the college tennis year after taking down UNC's No. 2 nationally ranked singles player, Cameron Morra, in straight sets at the ITA Kickoff Weekend.
 
Brooke Pilkington – Virginia Beach, Va.
-Conference USA Newcomer of the Year.
-First Team All-Conference USA for doubles.
-Second Team All-League for singles.
-First Team All-State for doubles.
-Second Team All-State for singles.
-Ended 2018-19 season nationally ranked in doubles.
-CAA Rookie of the Year.
-CAA Singles First Team.
