JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. – The Old Dominion women's golf team is set to compete in the Briar's Creek Invitational on March 15-16 hosted by the College of Charleston at The Golf Club at Briar's Creek. Live scoring of the event will be available on Golfstat.
The tournament features eight top-50 ranked teams, including the No. 44 Monarchs. 36 holes will be played on Monday and will conclude on Tuesday with 18 holes on the 6,110 yard par-72 track.
ODU is coming off a fifth-place finish at the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational, where Leah Onosato recorded her best career finish as runner-up. The junior was named Conference USA Player of the Week on Thursday, March 11.
The Monarchs last played in the Briar's Creek Invitational in 2019, finishing in fourth place ahead of five ranked opponents.
