EUGENE, Ore. - The No. 50 nationally ranked Old Dominion men's tennis team improved to 11-2 on the season after taking down New Mexico (5-7) by a 4-1 score on Saturday night. The Monarchs have now won eight of its last nine matches.

"We have a lot of respect for New Mexico and their coaching staff," explained ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. "They played with a lot of intensity and took the doubles away from us after we had a commanding lead. Great job from our guys to refocus for singles and getting four points on the board. We are excited to keep the momentum going into our match tomorrow against Oregon."

Old Dominion will be right back in action on Sunday, March 8 at 6:00 p.m. ET, when the Monarchs will square-off against Oregon (10-5).
