NORFOLK, Va. – The Monarch Soccer Sisters program presented by the Old Dominion women's soccer team is back and now accepting registration. The newest installment of the Monarch Soccer Sisters will be on Wednesday's from 6:00-7:30 p.m. ET starting on March 18 and running through April 22.
The six-week program offers weekly soccer coaching sessions that teach young girls ages 5-12 all of the fun of playing soccer through various coach-led skill practices and games. This program will also use these 90-minute sessions to teach important values such as: teamwork, diversity and respect.
Each participant will have their very own ODU women's soccer player as their "big sister" and role model.
To reserve a spot, please email ODU women's soccer assistant coach Sam Kirschenbaum at: skirsche@odu.edu. Registration is limited to the first 75 participants to sign up. The cost is $100/person.
Registration includes a t-shirt, coaching and the chance to scrimmage at halftime of the Soccer Monarchs home spring games.
