NORFOLK, Va. - The ODU (1-1) women's basketball team continues its homestand with a Sunday afternoon contest against in-state VCU. The two teams will be meeting for the 78th time overall and have met every single season since the 1984-85 season. The Monarchs will take on the former CAA rival at Chartway Arena with tip slated for 2 p.m.
The contest will be streamed on CUSA.tv and aired on ESPN 94.1 radio featuring commentary from Doug Ripley and Susan Montgomery.

- ODU bounced back in a big way with a 70-47 win over William & Mary on Thursday, Dec. 3 at Chartway Arena.
- Head coach DeLisha Milton-Jones earned her first-ever win as head coach of Old Dominion on Dec. 3 against William & Mary.
- Ajah Wayne led the team once again in scoring, picking up a double-double with 21 points and 15 boards.
- The last time VCU visited Chartway Arena (Dec. 16, 2018), ODU won a barnburner, 60-57.

About the Rams
In its last contest, the Rams (2-2) defeated Buffalo, 61-55 after a comeback late in the second half. Taya Robinson scored a team-high 20 points in the Thursday evening contest. Sarah Te-Biasu scored 10 of VCU's final 17 points. Head coach Beth O'Boyle has five players that are averaging double-figures through four games. Leading the way defensively, senior Sydnei Archie averages 6.5 rebounds per game, playing in just two contests. The Rams were picked to finish atop the A-10 in the league's preseason poll.
