Know Your Swimming Monarchs: What is Your Major and Why

ODUSports.com recently polled members of the ODU swim team. Today we asked their major and why. Rylee Moss, Fefe Nardone and Paige Romine answered this week's question.
 
What is your major and why?
 
Rylee Moss
My major is Psychology because I have always been fascinated with the way our brains function and how/why we choose to do certain things based on the psychological functions our brains have. 
 
Fefe Nardone
I am majoring in sports management with an emphasis on marketing. I chose sports management because I wanted to still be involved in the sport of swimming after I graduate. I would love to have a job as a recruiter and help market the sport of swimming as much as possible through social media. 
 
Paige Romine
My major is speech pathology/audiology with a minor in special education. When I was in high school I took American Sign Language and I got to learn about the role speech pathologists and audiologists have in the medical field. I was so intrigued, and I could really imagine myself being a speech pathologist one day. Additionally, I've always known I wanted to be in a profession where I get to be involved with helping a wide variety of people! Since speech path is a somewhat unique major, I was so happy that ODU had it as an option for a major. I have already learned so much from my professors at ODU, and I can't wait to continue to learn from them.
