No. 8. Morgan's Individual Title Leads Men's Golf to Victory
Senior Carter Morgan of the ODU men's golf team posted a 13-under par to come away with the individual title and lead the Monarchs to a team victory at the VCU Invitational on September 17. Morgan shot a tournament-best 64 in the second round to propel him to victory. The Monarchs as a team posted a final round score of 11-under par after entering the day in fifth place to storm to the top spot of the leaderboard, beating out second-place finishers Virginia Tech by one stroke. It was the first team victory the ODU men's golf team had since the 2016-2017 season.
