INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Old Dominion University student-athletes Erin Davidson (women's soccer) and Katie Ellett (women's swimming) were selected to attend the 2020 NCAA Career in Sports Forum. The three-day event is annually held in Indianapolis, however, due to CoronaVirus, this year's forum will be virtual.
A senior from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Davidson played in one game in goal this season, earning the win. As a junior, she played in eight matches, recording 17 saves. She will graduate with a degree in health sciences.
Ellett placed 12th in the 400 IM at the Conference USA Championships this year and finished 17th in the 100 breaststroke. Both are improvements from a season ago. A junior from Rockville, Maryland, Ellett is majoring in sport management.
The 2020 Career in Sports Forum will bring together selected NCAA student-athletes to learn about and explore potential careers in sports, particularly college athletics. This unique virtual programming experience will help student-athletes chart their career paths, while presenting copious opportunities for attendees to learn from current industry leaders.
The forum platform allows attendees to network with peers and decision-makers at the campus, conference and national level of college athletics.
