2019-20 Greatest Moments: Number Six

The ODUSports.com staff has put together the top-10 list counting down the Greatest Moments of the 2019-20 Athletic Year, presented by Cox Business. We continue the countdown today with No. 6. Check back each Wednesday as we take a look at the top moments of the year and get closer to the No. 1 moment.

No. 6. Johnson Ties a Career-High in Victory over VCU 

Senior Glory Johnson erupted for seven goals in ODU's 14-9 victory over in-state rival VCU on February 12 at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex. One of three captains on the team, Johnson netted the first three goals for the Monarchs and added another one in the prior to the halftime whistle, giving her four going into the intermission. She then scored the opening salvo of the second half and added two more to lead ODU to its first victory of the 2020 season.
 
Johnson's seven goals matched her career-high, as she scored seven goals in a game against Villanova in her junior campaign. Johnson can be found in the ODU Lacrosse record books in the top-10 in career points (152, tied for ninth) and career goals (118, 10th).
