NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion women's soccer head coach, Angie Hind, announced the addition of Yuliia Khrystiuk to roster on Thursday afternoon. Khrystiuk reigns from Vinnytsia, Ukraine and has served as a captain for their U17 National Team.
"I am delighted to have Yuliia join our program," said Hind. "Throughout the recruiting process it was very clear to me she is a very committed and dedicated soccer player who wants to be part of an ambitious program that can offer her the optimal environment to continue her development as a player. She is already well established as one of the best young talents in Ukraine and has great experience being a captain for her U17 national team."
Khrystiuk can play both midfield and forward and played her club ball for Vinnytsia.
"While she is versatile and can play both midfield and in attack, we see her as being a great addition to our forward line as she has both technical qualities as well as a great eye for goal," concluded Hind.
