NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women's tennis team (6-1) will travel to Columbia, Mo. for two matches this weekend. First, the Monarchs will take on Wichita State (1-4) on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 1:00 p.m. ET. Then on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 11:00 a.m. ET, ODU will square-off against Missouri (4-1). Both matches will be held at the Mizzou Tennis Complex.
Old Dominion has outscored its opponents 35-7 so far this season.
Holly Hutchinson jumped up to the No. 33 spot in the most recent ITA singles rankings, which were announced earlier this week. Yulia Starodubtseva is nationally ranked No. 107 in singles, while Starodubtseva and teammate Alesya Yakubovich are the No. 10 nationally ranked doubles tandem.
Earlier this week, Starodubtseva was named the Conference USA Athlete of the Week after going 3-0 last week.
Wichita State's Marta Bellucco and Sarvinoz Saidhujaeva are nationally ranked No. 54 in doubles.
Missouri's Gabrielle Goldin/Serena Nash are the No. 58 ranked duo.
Missouri and Wichita State play each other on Friday, Feb. 7 at 5:00 p.m. ET.
