In doubles, Yulia Starodubtseva/Alesya Yakubovich are the No. 8 nationally ranked tandem in Division I after winning the ITA Atlantic Region Tournament and advancing to the Semifinals of the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships.
Last year, head coach Dominic Manilla (ITA Atlantic Region and C-USA Coach of the Year) led the Monarchs to a 19-5 season, while compiling a perfect 11-0 mark at home and a 3-0 record against conference opponents during the regular season. Manilla's team earned the program's first ever at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, which marked ODU's second ever appearance in the Big Dance and first for the program since 2001. At one point last season, Manilla's Monarchs were nationally ranked No. 19, the highest mark in program history.
