NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion (12-3, 2-1 C-USA) women's basketball team resumes its home stand with contests against WKU (Jan. 16) and Marshall (Jan. 18) at the Chartway Arena. The Monarchs seek its first victory over the Hilltoppers since the 1989-90 season. Thursday evening's game against WKU will be streamed on ESPN+, a paid subscription service.
ODU earned a come from behind win over Charlotte on Jan. 11 by a 54-51 final score. Senior Taylor Edwards led the way offensively, scoring 15 points. Ashely Scott also had a standout performance, racking up a season-high 10 boards and notching four points, which matched her career-high.
The Thursday evening matchup consists of two top-50 RPI sqauds. Since defeating the 49ers, ODU jumped to the 44th spot in this week's RPI, while the Hilltoppers sit just below at 47th. ODU last saw the Hilltoppers in the C-USA quarterfinals, falling by a 74-60 final score in Frisco, Texas.

WKU sits 2-2 in the league, two spots below ODU in the standings. Their two losses in the league come to Rice and North Texas.
