NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion wrestling's recruiting class of 2020 has been nationally ranked ninth by The Open Mat after signing 12 student-athletes to join the team next fall.
Of the 12 newest Monarchs, eight of them are nationally ranked in the top-20 in their weight class, and six are featured in The Open Mat's National High School Rankings. The only other schools that brought in six athletes from The Open Mat's high school rankings are Oklahoma State and Virginia Tech, who are listed first and second on the rankings list, respectively.
The Monarchs' recruiting class of 2020 includes Antoine Allen, Kolby Allred, Tyler Badgett, Bilal Bailey, Ashton Habeil, Jake Harrier, Dajun Johnson, Steven Kolcheff, Marc Shaeffer, Sage Serbenta, Nick Stonecheck and Connor Williams. These dozen athletes are coming from all across America, with eight different states represented.
