NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion (1-6-1, 0-2-1 C-USA) men’s soccer team will hit the road as they head to South Carolina (5-4-0, 0-2-0 C-USA) on Saturday, October 5 at 7 p.m. The Monarchs are looking to bounce back from a tough 1-0 loss to Temple University on Tuesday afternoon.
Deniz Dogan who leads the Monarchs with eight points along with Sebastien Hauret who as four points, will look to lead the Monarchs to their second win of the season.
About South Carolina
The Gamecocks hold an undefeated record of 5-0 at their home stadium this season. Most recently they are coming off a 4-2 win against Presbyterian. Tucker Monheimer and Brian Banahan lead the Gamecocks offensively with a total of nine points each.
Last season, ODU shutout the Gamecocks, 1-0 at home. Overall, ODU holds an 8-4-0 mark over the Gamecocks.
