NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team (9-4-4, 3-4-2 C-USA) will travel to Transamerica Field to take on Charlotte (12-4-0, 7-2-0 C-USA) on Friday, Nov. 1 at 7:00 p.m. for the 2019 regular season finale. Friday’s game will stream on C-USA TV.
ODU currently sits in 10th place in the Conference USA standings, while Charlotte enters the week one point out of 1st place. The top eight teams at the completion of the regular season earn a bid to the 2019 Conference USA Tournament.
“All we have left now is to go win this game at Charlotte and that is the most important thing and then we have to see if we can get some help,” explained ODU head coach Angie Hind earlier this week.
The Monarchs had their five-match unbeaten streak snapped in their last game against UTEP. The 49ers had their seven-match win-streak snapped in their last game against UTSA.
Old Dominion is 4-2-2 when playing on the road so far this season, Charlotte has a compiled a 6-3-0 record when playing on its home pitch.
