NORFOLK, Va. – Last year, the ODU Men’s Basketball team rallied through in the January-February portion of Conference USA schedule to finish first in the 14-team conference. Fans can now secure seats for three of the 2020 C-USA weekend games to cheer for the Monarchs as they battle for another conference title. The three-game “C-USA Weekend Mini-Plan” offers fans their choice of three of four available conference weekend games in the portion of the season when college basketball interest in at its peak. The games being offered are Saturday, January 4th vs. UAB; the Monday, January 20th matchup with Charlotte which is on Martin Luther King Day; Saturday, January 25th vs. FAU; and Saturday, February 8th vs. UTEP.
Priced at just $39, each mini-plan is a $12 savings over single-game purchases. Mini-plan purchasers will be seated in section 107 or 109 of Chartway Arena. The mini-plans can be purchased online at www.ynottix.com or by phone at 757-683-4444.
The Monarchs enter the 2019-20 season following an outstanding 26-9 campaign last year that included a first-place finish in Conference USA at 13-5 and a Conference USA Tournament championship, punching Old Dominion’s first ticket to the NCAA Tournament since 2011.
Head coach Jeff Jones enters his seventh season at the helm at ODU, led by Conference USA Tournament MVP Xavier Green, who was named to the All-Conference USA Preseason Team earlier in the week.
Over the last five seasons, Jones and the Monarchs have compiled the most overall wins out of any team in the C-USA, as well as most league wins within the conference.
