TULSA, Okla. – Francois Musitelli and Jannik Giesse of the Old Dominion men’s tennis team wrapped up competition at the 2019 ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla, which was held at the LaFortune Tennis Center and Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Musitelli and Giesse teamed up in doubles play in the Qualifying Doubles Draw and claimed victories in each of their first two matches over tandems from Tennessee and New Mexico, advancing from the Round of 64 to the Round of 16 before going down to UCF’s Gabirel Decamps and Juan Pablo Mazzuchi.
Musitelli won his First Round match over Belmont’s Hendrik Inno, before ultimately falling in the Second Round.
Jannik Giesse picked up a couple victories in the Pre-Qualifying Singles Draw, advancing from the Round of 256 to the Round of 32, before dropping a three-setter to Tennessee’s Pat Harper (3-6, 6-2, 2-6).
