> ODU (1-3) is coming off a 24-21 loss to East Carolina, while WKU (2-2, 2-0 C-USA) defeated UAB 20-13.

> Stone Smartt completed 20-of-33 passes for 203 yards and rushed 22 times for 76 yards, but also threw two interceptions and fumbled at the ECU one yard line.

> Senior Hasaan Patterson had eight career catches heading into last Saturday, and he led ODU with four catches against the Pirates for 41 yards.

> Lawrence Garner had a game-high 10 tackles and half a tackle for loss, while Jordan Young had his first career interception.

Garner Does What He Does
Junior linebacker Lawrence Garner had a game-high 10 tackles in Saturday’s loss to ECU, a season high.

Since the beginning of last season, the lowest number of tackles Garner has had in a game is six, in ODU’s 77-14 win over VMI in the second to last game of 2018.

Garner is fifth in C-USA with 8.8 tackles per game.
