NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion men's golf team opens the 2019-20 season at the Caledonia Golf and Fish Club in Pawley’s Island, S.C. with the Golfweek Program Championship on September 8-10.

Live scoring for the tournament is available on GolfStat

The Golfweek Program Championship is an event that features both men’s and women’s teams, which is tallied up as one score to find a team champion. There is also a separate championship for the men and women.

The three-day event starts with a practice round on Sunday, followed by the first two rounds of action on Monday and ending with the final round on Tuesday.

Head coach Murray Rudisill's lineup is rich with experience, as the Monarchs have six upper classmen on their roster. Junior Gustav Fransson, who ranked third on the Monarchs last season with a 73.7 stroke average, will headline the Monarchs returners along with seniors Chris Ayers, Carter Morgan, Doug Rios Ceballos, Chandler Wilkins and sophomore Michael Minnehan.

ODU will welcome junior transfer Rasmus Konradsson and freshmen Filip Wetterqvist and Alex Zurat this season to the lineup this season as well.

The Monarchs participated in this event last season, but were forced to withdraw due to Hurricane Florence.
