NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion field hockey team will host two games at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex early this week, as the Monarchs welcome American on Sunday, September 8 at 12:00 p.m. and No. 25 William & Mary on Tuesday night, September 10 at 5:00 p.m.

ODU’s game against W&M was originally scheduled for Friday, September 6, but due to inclement weather the game was postponed and moved to Tuesday.

The Monarchs are looking for their first win of the 2019 campaign after losing a tight contest against No. 11 Virginia last Friday, 3-0. The defensive unit held the Cavaliers to just five shots and one penalty corner, while sophomore goalkeeper Cam MacGillivray gathered two saves in the effort.

Five different Eagles have registered a goal so far in the young season, while sophomore forward Hannah Moser leads the pack, scoring a goal in each of the first two games.
