Kim Logan was a two-time Collegiate Sailing All-American, earning those honors in 1990 and 1991. In 1990, Logan helped lead Old Dominion to a third place finish at the ICYRA Women's National Championships. She placed third at the USYRU O'Day Trophy and captured the Area C Sloop Eliminators.

In 1990-91, Old Dominion placed fourth at the ICYRA Sloop National Championships, Team Race National Championships, and fifth at the Women's National Championships. Logan helped lead the Lady Monarchs to the Women's District Championships and the MAISA District Championships. That spring, Logan helped lead the Lady Monarchs to the St. Mary's Women's Invitational title and the Clemson Invitational Regatta. In 1991, she was second in the B-division at the ICYRA Women's National Championships.

In 1992, Logan finished sixth out of 27 in Olympic qualifying in the Europe Dinghy Class. In 1992-93, she led the Monarchs to a third place finish at the Nevin Trophy, the War Memorial and fourth place finishes in the St. Mary's Fall Invite and the ICYRA Women's Championships. Logan won the silver medal in the Pan-Am games for the Europe dinghy Class in 1995.

The Miami, Fla., native graduated with a degree in marketing education in 1993.
