Jackie Grady was a two-sport standout in both field hockey and lacrosse at Old Dominion,and served as a captain for both teams. She was a two-time field hockey All-American in the fallof 1985 and 1986, and was named to the 1985 NCAA field hockey National Championship All-Tournament squad.
Grady played on two NCAA national championship field hockey teams in 1983 andin 1984. The 1985 squad finished second. Grady was second on the team in scoring in 1986with 32 points, 13 goals and 19 assists. She scored 13 goals and 14 assists in 1985, 13 goalswith five assists in 1984 and 11 goals as a freshman in 1983. In all, Grady helped lead the LadyMonarchs to a 80-10-2 record during her four seasons.
The native of Drexel Hill, Pa., completed her career at Old Dominion as the school'ssixth all-time goal scorer with 50, seventh all-time assist leader with 38 and fifth all-time pointsleader with 88.
In lacrosse, she was a first team All-South Atlantic regional selection in 1986 and1987. Grady scored three goals with four assists as a senior.
Grady graduated in 1988 with a degree in health and physical education.
