NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion men's golf team will travel to Richmond, Va. to compete in the VCU Invitational at the Country Club of Virginia’s Tuckahoe Creek Course.
Rounds one and two will take place on Monday, September 16, while the third and final round occurs on Tuesday, September 17. Tuckahoe Creek Course is a par-72, and has played host to the VCU Invitational since 2015.

Last week the Monarchs finished the Golfweek Program Championships in a fourth-place tie with a mark of 1-over par. Senior Chris Ayers ended the tournament tied-for-fourth with an individual score of 8-under. His classmate Carter Morgan also logged a top-20 finish, placing 17thwith an even par.
Ayers and Morgan will look for repeat performances this week in Richmond. They will be joined by Gustav Fransson, Filip Wetterqvist, Rasmus Konradsson and Michael Minnehan, who will be playing as an individual in the event.
The VCU Invitational was canceled last season due to inclement weather.
