NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team (4-0-1) will look to remain unbeaten for the season this week after traveling to Greenville, N.C. for a Thursday, Sept. 12 match at ECU (2-2-1), which is slated to start at 7:00 p.m. ET. Then on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 6:00 p.m., the Monarchs will welcome William & Mary (2-3-1) to the ODU Soccer Complex.

HOMETOWN HEROES NIGHT
Not only is Sunday’s match against the Tribe a ‘Sunday Dog Day’ (so don’t forget Fido), but it will also mark ‘Hometown Heroes Night’. All teachers, nurses, doctors, first responders, fire department members, EMS staff and military will receive free entry into the ODU Soccer Complex on Sunday night.

Through five games, ODU has outscored its opponents 14-7, while the Monarchs defense has only allowed more than one goal in a single match so far in 2019.

Earlier this week, Old Dominion forward Amanda Nhek was named the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week. Nhek has scored a goal in every game for ODU so far this season, as she leads the team in points (13), goals (5) and assists (3). The Monarchs boast a 2-0-0 home record and a 2-0-1 away record.
