Football Practice Report: Day Six

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University football practiced for the sixth time in fall camp and for the second time in full pads on Wednesday night.

The nearly two hour practiced was delayed 30 minutes due to the early evening storm that pushed through Norfolk. 

During team drills, the team focused on two minute drills along with red zone segments.

Team Drill Highlights
The first play of team period Lance Boykin intercepted a deflected pass. Several plays later he broke up a pass.
Stone Smartt connected with Hasaan Patterson for 35 yards down the left sideline. A few plays later Smartt hit Patterson for a five-yard touchdown.
Messiah deWeaver tossed a screen pass that Blake Watson carried down the sideline for a long gain.
