NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University football practiced for the eighth time on Saturday night as the Monarchs continue fall camp.
On the eighth day, there was sudden change. In the middle of practice, head coach Bobby Wilder through out the scheduled practice plan and put the Monarchs in team drills to try and simulate a turnover in a game.
Team Drill Highlights
Stone Smartt hit Blake Watson for a 50-yard gain.
Smartt followed with a 50 yard touchdown pass to Jake Herslow.
Messiah deWeaver connected with Herslow for another 50 yard touchdown.
Smartt again found Herslow, this time for a 30 yard pass play.
Tobias Moss had a pass breakup.
Ryan Henry, Jordan Young and Marcus Haynes secured tackles for loss.
